The 2025 WNBA Draft will take place on Monday night from Hudson Yard sheds in New York City.
There isn’t much drama at the top of this year’s draft. Because Dallas’ wings are widely expected to take away the fresh UCONN Star Page Bookers, who won the National Championship. Wings has selected the entire overall for the second time in franchise history after winning the draft lottery in November, and also owns the final round one pick.
The Seattle storm won the Los Angeles Sparks’ second overall pick via a blockbuster offseason trade in which Kelsey Plum headed for LA and Jewel Lloyd joined the ace in Las Vegas.
The Washington Mystic has three picks in the top six and is set to escape with a rather draft haul. Washington won the third pick from Chicago Sky in Ariel Atkinstrade, with its own pick coming in fourth. After the Golden State Valkyries round out the top five by making their first WNBA draft selection for the franchise, the mystics choose again.
Along with Washington, two other teams have a selection of consecutive first rounds. The Connecticut Sun has won the seventh and eighth, while the sky has the 10th and 11th picks.
So, we know that Bueckers is very likely to hear her name, called First. But where are the other top prospects, including Dominique Malonga of France, Kiki Iliafen of USC, Sonia Citron of Notre Dame, Anesa Moreau of LSU, and Hailey Van Lis Rand of TCU?
