Trader Joe’s mini tote bags are backstores, but if you want to get one of the hottest accessories for yourself, you need to act quickly.
Lines stretched around blocks across the country in hopes of buying new blue, pink, purple and green pastel bags.

According to a company spokesperson, the bags should be back this week, but if that is different from store to store.
An employee of Los Angeles trader Joe said NBCLA customers should check stock as soon as possible in the morning, and bags are often sold out by noon. Employees also said the stock is likely to sell out by the end of the weekend.
Customers can purchase up to four bags each. One can be purchased for each color.
Last year, the bag first appeared. “@traderjoeslist” has been posted on her Instagram account dedicated to highlighting the store’s notable products.
The bag is a mini version of the usual large ones from Trader Joe, priced at just $2.99 each.
In its 2024 release, there were four vibrantly colored bags instead: red, yellow, navy and forest green.
Bags for 2025 have started to pop up from resellers who already have bags worth over $300.
California Trader Joe is located in 205 locations, 11 of which are in Los Angeles.
