President Donald Trump addressed the country shortly after 10pm Eastern time, following a successful US strike at a trio of Iran’s nuclear facilities.
“Some time ago, the US military carried out massive precision strikes at three important nuclear facilities of the Iranian regime, Ford, Natanz and Isfahan,” he said. “Everyone has heard their names for many years because they built this horribly destructive corporation. Our aim was to destroy Iran’s nuclear enrichment capabilities and to halt the nuclear threat posed by the world’s number one national sponsor. Tonight I can report to the world that the strike is an epic military success.”
“For 40 years, Iran has been saying, “Death to America. Death to Israel.” They killed our people, blew our arms away, and blew our legs out with roadside bombs,” Trump continued. “It was their specialty. We lost over a thousand people in the Middle East and around the world, especially as a direct result of their hatred.”
Trump reported that Iran’s nuclear facilities have been “eliminated” and the country has been brought back to the corner, and that “now we must create peace.”
“Iran’s nuclear enrichment facility has been completely wiped out,” Trump said. “And now, Iran, a bully in the Middle East, must make peace. Otherwise, future attacks will be much bigger and much easier.”

Trump’s speech followed him, which he announced Thursday, through his spokesman Caroline Leavitt, who said he would decide whether he would attack Iran within two weeks.
“I have received a direct message from the president and “based on the fact that there is a significant possibility of negotiations on whether it could take place with Iran in the near future, I will quote and decide whether to go within the next two weeks,” Leavitt said at a White House briefing, citing Trump.
Trump repeatedly urged Iran to make deals on the nuclear program before attacking nuclear facilities, but the country withdrew from continuing talks with the US scheduled for June 15 in Oman and refused to return to the table for the next few days. Israel ordered Iran’s strike preemptively on June 12th. Israeli Intelligence Agency has shown that Iran’s nuclear program is progressing rapidly.
Trump congratulated the US military on conducting a successful attack and congratulated Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for working with the US during the operation.

“I want to thank and congratulate Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu. We were working as a team. We have come a long way to erase this terrible threat to Israel, perhaps as our team has never worked before. I want to thank the Israeli military for its amazing work. For decades,” he said.
Trump warned Iran that there will be peace or tragedy.
“Remember, there are many targets left. Tonight was the most difficult and perhaps the deadliest of them. But if peace doesn’t come soon, we’ll chase other targets with accuracy, speed and skill. Most of them can be taken out in a few minutes.
The president previewed that Secretary of Defense Pete Hegses and chairman of Chairman Prime Minister Dan Kane will hold a press conference on the strike at 8am Sunday.
“I want to thank everyone. Especially God, we love you, God, and we love the great army. We protect them. We bless the Middle East. God bless Israel, God bless America.”
Trump announced Saturday evening via the Truth Social Post, which was not ahead of the media leak, and announced that the US had made three successful attacks.
Sean Hannity of Fox News reported on Saturday that the US used six bunkerbuster bombs, each weighing 15 tons, on a strike at Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility. The bomb was dropped from an American B-2 stealth bomber.
Additionally, 30 Tomahawk missiles launched from US submarines were used in attacks on the Nanuts and Isfahan facilities, he reported.

Trump promises to respond with “complete strength and power” of the US military if Iran attacks America
Ahead of the Saturday evening strike, six B-2 stealth bombers from an air force base in Missouri appeared to be on their way to a U.S. Air Force Base in Guam, U.S. officials confirmed Saturday with Fox News.
Fox News News Chief National Security Correspondent Jennifer Griffin said the news broke the strike on Saturday night and is likely to be part of “a misleading information that suggests that President Trump may have put off the decision.”
“The six B-2 bombers heading west towards Guam would not have reached Iran in time to take part in the strike,” she told Fox News’ Bret Baier on Saturday evening. “So it suggests to me that there is probably an additional B-1 package that flew east from Whiteman Air Force Base. Again, this was all part of the deception.

Israel launched its first strike in Iran on June 12 after months of halt that stagnated by attempting nuclear negotiations and raised concerns that followed. Shortly afterwards, Netanyahu declared that a strike was necessary to roll back the Iranian threat to Israel’s very survival.
He added that if Israel does not act, “Iran can produce nuclear weapons in a very short time.”

The strike, known as the “Operation Raisinglion,” targeted Iran’s nuclear and missile infrastructure and killed senior Iranian military leaders.
