First on FOX: The Trump administration approved disaster relief loans for millions of people for small businesses shaken by the anti-ice riots that plagued Los Angeles in June after Gavin Newsom downplayed the riots and condemned the Trump administration’s violence.
In a press release he first shared with Fox News Digital on Tuesday, Small Business Administration Director Kelly Loeffler announced that Newsom’s government has applied for the SBA Economic Injury and Disaster Loan (EIDL) declaration. According to the SBA, small businesses can apply for low interest loans of up to $2 million to support working capital and salaries, rent, and regular operating expenses such as regular operating expenses such as salary, rent and utilities.
“Governor Newsom allowed mobs to assault Los Angeles – standing with violent rioters, paid protesters and more criminally illegal aliens than law-abiding citizens. Despite an estimated $1 billion in damages, he refused federal relief for weeks, claiming that the riot was peaceful even if small business owners fell into tile ribble.
“The SBA will approve California’s disaster relief request and begin providing immediate assistance to innocent victims, but Governor Newsom must take accountable for his national approval crisis and stop politicizing for the American livelihood.”

The press release said it continued “a few weeks of actual solutions and inflammatory social media statements” until the governor “suggested federal disaster relief to ultimately bail him out.”
Fox News Digital marks the largest disaster money SBA has ever approved in a non-hurricane or flood event, following the SBA previously approved an additional 11,583 loans that approved a $29.9 billion relief earlier this year, following the California wildfire disaster in January.

“We are giving Gavin Newsom the opportunity to stop surveillance with illegal foreigners of crime and start siding with law-abiding Americans, many of whom have lost everything to the violent and destructive riots of Los Angeles,” Loeffler said in a statement on June 12th. Federal partners are ready to help American citizens rebuild. As soon as the governor answers his call for help, we do. ”
A Gov. Newsom spokesman doubled in a statement from Fox News Digital on Tuesday, denounced violence in Los Angeles during the Trump administration last month, and also celebrated the approval of the SBA’s relief for affected California businesses.
“Finally, the federal government is doing the right thing for damages that some small businesses suffer from the chaos campaign Trump has imposed in Los Angeles. California businesses shouldn’t have to bear the burden of Trump’s authoritarian tilade.”
California Ltd. The governor says the Los Angeles riots were “generated by Donald Trump.”
A riot broke out in Los Angeles on the evening of June 6th after federal law enforcement officials gathered around the city and carried out an immigrant raid. State and local leaders such as Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and Newsom quickly condemned the attack on public statements, offering words of support for illegal immigration in the state.
Protests against the attack quickly fell into violence as rioters targeted federal law enforcement officials in videos showing rioters plundering local shops, setting cars on fire and taking over the streets, including those by fired staff rocks.

Los Angeles officials reported in June that the city had incurred nearly $20 million in expenses for the riots to repair police overtime and damage to government buildings.
Trump deployed 2,000 National Guard personnel to quell the violence. The violence generally bypassed governors who activate the National Guard, but the administration deployed hundreds more Marines to respond to anti-life-saving chaos.

California then sued the Trump administration for deploying a National Guard force that Newsom said in a press release that “escalated chaos and violence in the Los Angeles area.” The federal court of appeals ultimately ruled Trump’s endorsement in the case.
Fox News Digital previously reported, Fox News Digital fixed the blame for violence against elected Democrat officials who “devils and demonized” ICE law enforcement agencies that federal officials “devils and demonized.”

“The violent targeting of Los Angeles law enforcement by the Lawless mob is sleazy, and Mayor Bass and Governor Newsom need to end it,” Homeland Security Deputy Director Tricia McLaughlin wrote in a June statement as the violence continued. “The ice men and women risked their lives to protect and protect the lives of American citizens… From comparing them to the modern Nazi Gestapo to praise the rioters, the violent rhetoric of these sanctuary politicians is beyond pale. This violence against the ice must end.”

Newsom refused to characterize violence as “riots” in social media posts and interviews, instead refusing to “immortalize” violence by securing responsibility for the administration’s disruption due to Trump and his immigration policies and revitalizing the National Guard.
“Donald Trump has created conditions that you can watch on your TV tonight. He has made the situation worse. He has set fire to the game he is known to be. He has fuelled the fire ever since he announced that he is taking over the National Guard, illegal, immoral, immoral, unconstitutional actions. Protest.”
President Donald Trump and the newspapers repeatedly exchanged barbs on social media through protests and riots, and in public opinion through protests and riots, claiming that if the president had not intervened, it would have been destroyed.
“The incompetent Gavin Newscam should have thanked him for his work in Los Angeles rather than making sad excuses for the poor work he did. Trump posted on Truth Social on June 12th.
The violence and protests were suppressed following the “No Kings Day” protests by the people on June 14, when the military parade was held in Washington, DC, in honor of the 250th anniversary of the US Army.

The pair also traded the blows in January as Trump denounced Newsom for his leadership amid the devastating wildfires that grabbed the Los Angeles area. Trump has locked his responsibility on Newsom for not being prepared to prevent the newspapers, but Newsom’s office accused him of “playing politics” while his focus is on ending the devastation.
Newsom on Monday touted that his state “invested billions of dollars to fight the fire” and called on Trump to “put his money down his mouth” to help protect the community from wildfires.
“California has done quite a lot of “raking” forests. Now the federal government has to play its part in getting America again. We’ve invested billions of dollars and dealt with millions of acres. Since I took office, I have more than doubled the state’s investments. According to a press release from his office, Newsom said.
