The Department of Homeland Security issued a statement Tuesday highlighting some of the “worst and worst” offenders arrested in the agency’s nationwide crackdown on illegal aliens.

According to the statement, 70% of U.S. immigrants and customs enforcement arrests are illegal aliens convicted or charged with a crime. This is because agencies face intense criticism of immigration law enforcement, with executives dealing with an increase in assaults of 830%.

Some Democrats accuse the ice of targeting innocent, everyday immigrants. During the height of anti-ice riots in Los Angeles in June, D-Ill Rep. Delia Ramirez accused President Donald Trump of targeting anyone he thought was “unwanted.” She also promoted the theory that the president would target US citizens in the same way he deported criminal immigrants.

“Trump, Homan, Miller and this whole administration have launched a fear campaign against our family, our families, our families, as they move forward their fascist agenda and cast immigrants as public enemies,” Ramirez said.

Eric Adams agrees to Tom Homan’s pledge to “water zones into zones” after CBP’s shooting.

The agency says it will not retreat from arresting immigrants illegally in the country, but a new DHS statement says that the majority of those arrested so far have been criminally charged or convicted.

Illegals highlighted in the DHS statement include criminals charged with hit and run, aggravated assault, felony threats, grand theft and possession of drugs.

Orinda Michaela Gonzalez Ortiz, an illegal 21-year-old foreigner from Guatemala, has a criminal record including a hit and run conviction in Salisbury, Maryland, after being arrested by Ice Baltimore.

Another Federico von Nunez, 53-year-old Mexico arrested by Ice Denver in Boulder, has been sentenced 21 criminal convictions, including robbery, aggravated assault and felony threats, which are illegal in Mexico.

John Jarvis Chavez de la Rosa, a 21-year-old illegal immigrant from Venezuela, has a criminal history, including a conviction of assault that causes physical injury. He was arrested by ICE in Houston.

Two other people, 34-year-old Luis Alberto Leonardo Cortez Rivera from Mexico and 46-year-old illegal Lureiro Falcao from Honduras, were arrested at ICE in Los Angeles and Oklahoma City, respectively. Cortes-Rivera has a criminal history that includes nine criminal convictions, including grand theft, robbery and vehicle tampering. Forcao’s criminal history includes a conviction for possession of methamphetamine.

ICE also arrested scores of illegal immigrants who were charged or found guilty of child sex offences.

In June, Ice arrested 1,361 illegal immigrants in the Houston area alone, including individuals previously convicted of plane hijacking, murder and sexual assault. Of those arrested, 32 were previously convicted of child sex offences, nine were believed to be murder-related offences and 16 were considered members of gangs or drug cartels. One person arrested on ice was found guilty of hijacking a plane from Cuba to Key West, Florida.

The Ice Homeland Security Investigation in Maryland led to the life of his supervised release for 30 years of 38-year-old Mark Rice’s sentence, 30 years in federal prison, and 2-year-old sexually abused him and “using authority status” to produce and distribute child sexual abuse material online.

In a statement Tuesday, DHS Deputy Director Tricia McLaughlin praised President Donald Trump and Homeland Security Secretary Christa Noem, saying they “released the ice to target the worst.”

“Our brave law enforcement agencies face an 830% increase in assaults against them, but they continue to arrest violent criminals and drug traffickers every day,” McLaughlin said. “We do not allow sanctuary politicians, activists hacking or rioters to stand in our way to protect the American people. Our message is clear.

Fox News Digital contacted Ramirez’s office for comment but did not receive an immediate response.
