President-elect Donald Trump’s campaign adviser Alex Brucewicz fainted while speaking on stage at a New York Young Republican Club gala Sunday night.
Mr. Brusewitz, 27, was introducing incoming White House senior aide Dan Scavino inside a Manhattan venue when he stumbled over his words and began to faint, video footage shown on social media showed. .
After he collapsed, several people immediately rushed to his aid. It was not immediately clear what caused him to faint.
Host Raheem Kassam, a former aide to British conservative politician Nigel Farage, later assured the audience that Brusewitz was in good spirits backstage, adding: “He even asked me if I was watching. ” he said.[ed] That’s cool” when I passed out.

“I talked to our friend Alex Brusewitz, and you know what he said to me? He said, ‘At least I looked cool?’ I was like, ‘Alex, you’re this.’ He said he was using gravity like he had never seen anyone use gravity in his life,” Kassam said. “But he’s recovering there, so cheer loud so he can hear.”
Trump also said after the collapse that he believed Brusewitz would be OK, according to the New York Post.
“Alex is a tough son of a gun, so I know he’s going to be OK,” Trump said. “There’s no doubt about that. So I’d like to say hello to Alex, because he’s a very special person.”

Before collapsing, Mr. Brewitz appeared to be OK, even as he praised the New York Republican Club, which supported the Trump campaign. He also gave a shoutout to several of the president-elect’s supporters who attended the event, including former Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, who recently resigned from the U.S. House of Representatives.
