First broadcast on FOX: Two of President-elect Donald Trump’s top aides have joined key outside groups ahead of his second term as he prepares to rally public support for his MAGA policy. .

Chris LaCivita, one of the Trump campaign’s chief campaign managers for the 2024 election, will join the 501c4 Building America’s Future (BAF) as a senior advisor, along with Tony Fabrizio, the campaign’s chief pollster.

“We are pleased to join BAF, which has been a valuable and important ally in advancing President Trump’s policies and candidacy in the 2024 cycle,” Lacivita and Fabrizio said in a statement. “We support BAF and its efforts to advance President Trump’s America First policy and look forward to their efforts complementing and strengthening those of the President’s team.”

The two will provide strategic advice to the group as it aims to galvanize support for Trump’s policy proposals during his presidential term.

Founded in 2018 by Phil Cox and Genera Peck, BAF led a $45 million effort to support Trump and his campaign against Vice President Kamala Harris during the election. The group has already signaled its intention to continue promoting President Trump and his administration after the election, debuting an ad campaign supporting Pete Hegseth, Trump’s pick to lead the Pentagon.

This group will play an active role in galvanizing the nation to support President Trump’s policy priorities as he enters his second term.

This comes as Republicans prepare to use the budget reconciliation process to pass key elements of President Trump’s agenda, including the economy and tax policy, as well as some elements of border security. Using this process, Republicans only need a simple majority in the Senate to break the filibuster, rather than 60 votes.

However, since the party only has 53 seats in the new Senate, nearly all Republicans would need to participate.

By increasing public support for President Trump’s priorities, Republicans may feel pressured to support certain items.

Trump’s other co-campaign manager, Susie Wiles, was named White House chief of staff shortly after Trump was elected.
