President Trump’s relationship with Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk appeared to have exploded publicly last week after the two responded in public, but gained a soft tone when Musk responded to a clip of President X on Monday.
“We had a great relationship and I wish him well – in fact, I’m very well,” Trump said Monday in a clip posted by conservative influencer Alx.
Musk responded to the post with a heart emoji on Monday evening.
Earlier in the day, Fox News Digital reported that public nausea between the two billionaires seemed to have lost steam after Musk appears to be supporting support from handling anti-ice riots in Los Angeles.

“Governor Gavin Newscum and “Mayor” Bass should apologise to the people of Los Angeles for the absolutely horrifying work they did, including the ongoing LA Riots.” “These are not protesters, they are troublemakers and rebels.”
Additionally, Musk has reposted one of JD Vance’s Vice President’s posts on X regarding Riots.
“This moment calls for decisive leadership,” Vance said. “The president will not tolerate riots and violence.”
Musk also appeared to post a self-deprecating joke about herself to X on Sunday.
“It’s ridiculous how many character assassinations have been directed at me, especially by me!” posted by Musk.
While speaking to reporters in the oval office on Thursday, Trump said he was “very disappointed” by Musk’s voice criticism of the bill. The president argued that Musk “had no issues” until he knew what the bill was and needed to cut EV incentives.
In X, Musk called the rating “false.”
Trump turned to social media to criticize Musk. Musk has appointed him to find a way to cut $2 trillion after forming Government Efficiency (DOGE).

“Elon asked him to leave, saying, ‘I’m wearing it lightly.’ I took his EV mandate and made everyone buy an electric car that no one else wanted (he knew for months I was trying to do it!), and he just went crazy! ” Trump said in one post.
In another post, Trump said, “Don’t mind Elon is heading towards me, but he should have done that a few months ago. This is one of the biggest bills presented to Congress. It’s a record cut in costs, $1.6 trillion and the biggest tax cut ever.”
“If this bill isn’t over, there’s a 68% tax increase and it can be much worse than that. I didn’t create this confusion. I’m here to fix it. This puts our country on a great path.
At one point, Musk referenced the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein in connection with Trump as part of the larger Tillard in comments that several Republicans said Fox News Digital was “too far.”
Musk deleted the post a few days later.
Other posts from Musk included claims that Trump could not have won the election without his help, while accusing him of being “unclear.” In another post, Musk suggested that Trump should be fired each and replaced by Vice President Vance.

Trump told Fox News Friday that he had no interest in talking to Musk, adding that “Eron has lost it completely.”
Trump also told Fox News’ Bret Baier that he was not worried about Musk’s proposal to form a new political party, citing the positive vote and strong support from Republicans at Capitol Hill.
