Most Republicans are willing to give great respect to President Donald Trump to attack Iran without Congressional permission to strike sovereign territories elsewhere.
There are some concerns that the president’s aggressive actions could strip off some of the pro-Maga supporters simply because Trump campaigned against his involvement in foreign conflicts.
There is also a division among the Democrats. Israeli Democrats have called for the United States to strike Iran because of the threat posed to Israel.

Anyway, lawmakers on both sides are concerned about retaliation from Iran and its agents, as well as even strikes in the US from sleeper cells.
Members of Congress will want to inject themselves into this conflict and understand what kind of combat planning is ahead, and therefore understand what risks lie in the United States.
Hopefully a Senate-wide explanation on Iran will come on Tuesday.
