President Donald Trump called him a “loser” after he denounced Rep. Thomas Massey on social media on R-ky and posted a series of social media posts criticizing the president for bombing Iran’s nuclear facilities on Saturday night.
Massy said in X that Trump’s actions were “not a constitutional law.”
“When two countries bomb each other every day in a hot war and a third nation participates in the bombing, that’s an act of war,” Massy said in another post. “We’re amazed at the mental gymnastics being carried out by the neocons in DC (and its social media bots) to say we’re not at war… they can go to war.”
On the far left, anti-Israel voices condemn Trump Iran’s strike and dismiss the idea that he is an “anti-war president.”
In another post, Massey responded to a post from speaker Mike Johnson, where he defended Trump’s actions and said Congressional leaders were aware of the urgency of the situation, but said “immediate danger exceeded the time it took Congress to act.”
“Why didn’t you call us back from our vacation when there was a serious threat to our country?” Massie said in response to Johnson’s post.
Massy’s words caught Trump’s attention. On Sunday, the president aimed several words to his representatives.
“Rep. Thomas Massey of Kentucky is not a Maga. He wants to say he is. In fact, Maga doesn’t want him, he doesn’t know him, he doesn’t respect him.”

“He’s a negative force to almost always vote “no,” no matter how good it is. He is a simple “grandfather” who thinks it’s good politics that Iran has the highest level of nuclear weapons, and that it’s good politics that screams “death to America.” ”

The president has amended his lawsuit for bombing Iran’s nuclear facilities, saying Iran “killed and annoyed” thousands of Americans. He then took over the US embassy in Tehran under the Jimmy Carter administration.
“Yesterday we had an epic military success, taking the ‘bomb’ out of our hands (and they’ll use it if possible!) But, as always, and despite all the praise and admiration received, this ‘lightweight’ lawmaker is opposed to what was so spectacularly achieved in Iran last night,” Trump wrote.

“Massie is weak, ineffective and votes “no” for virtually everything that’s placed before him (Rand Paul Jr.).

Trump also accused Massie of being “disrespectful” to the military and suggested that he “drop his false actions,” putting America first.
“Maga should drop this pathetic loser, Tom Massey, like the plague!” Trump said. “The good news is that there are some amazing American patriots running against him in the Republican primary. I’m off to a Kentucky campaign.

“Maga is not about lazy, epic, unproductive politicians. Thomas Massey is definitely one,” Trump continued. “Thank you to our incredible army for the amazing work they did last night. It was really special!!! Make America great again.”
