President Donald Trump launched his second White House stint by garnering positive reviews from Americans.
The majority of Americans, 70%, believe Trump is doing “what he promised” during the campaign, but according to a CBS/YouGov poll, the president’s agenda is “promise and I believe it is different.” Sunday.
Polls found that 53% of respondents total approval for Trump’s work so far, indicating that 47% of respondents disapproved. Voters also use positive words to describe the president, with 69% describing him as tough, 63% energy, 60% focus and 58% effective.
Many Americans also say they have approved the work Trump has done so far on important issues, with 59% sanctioning his program to expel illegal immigrants. 41% say they don’t approve. The majority of the 64% show that while 36% disapprove, they approve the president’s plan to send US troops to the US border.

The majority also approved Trump’s handling of Israeli-Hama conflict, with 54% of Americans saying they have approved it. However, Americans are less sure about the president’s proposal to take over Gaza after the war, with only 13% saying it was a “good idea” and 47% of respondents saying it was a “bad idea.” And 40% say they were marked that they didn’t know.
