President Donald Trump on Friday said he had no interest in banishing Prince Harry, who left England with his wife Meghan Markle in 2020 and eventually settled in Montecito, California.
The Duke of Sussex is in the hot water after a conservative think tank. The Heritage Foundation filed a lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security last year, releasing immigration records after admitting illegal drug use in its 2023 memoir, Spare.
“I don’t want to do that,” Trump told the New York Post on Friday after being asked by the New York Post whether he would deport the royal family. “I’ll leave him alone. He has enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible.”
Markle has criticized Trump in the past, calling him “misease” and “divorce” during a television appearance ahead of the 2016 election.

On Friday, President Trump said he had no interest in deporting Prince Harry, famously for leaving England with his wife Meghan Markle in 2020. ))
In 2019, before visiting the UK during her first term as president, Trump called the Duchess of Sussex “trouble” for her remarks about him.
He then met with the royal family during his visit. Markle was with her newborn Archie at the time.
He also told Piers Morgan in 2022 that Harry was “whipped like someone you’ve never seen before.”
The estate foundation in that lawsuit may have lied to his immigration form about his past drug use, or may have called for prioritized treatment by the government and released the records. He says that.
“I urge the President to release Prince Harry’s immigration records, and the President has the legal authority to do so,” Nile Gardiner of the Heritage Foundation previously told The New York Post.

“It’s important because it’s a matter of rule of law, transparency and accountability. No one should go beyond the law,” Gardiner added. “Donald Trump is in a new era of strict border control enforcement, and Prince Harry has admitted widespread use of illegal drugs and should be completely detained to explain.”
