President Donald Trump issued a complete restraint for R-Ariz’s ABE Hamadeh Rep., supporting lawmakers for less than six months’ re-election in his first term as freshman House members.
“Abe Hamade has my full and full support for re-election. He will never disappoint you!” The president declared in a true social post that he described lawmakers as “America’s first patriot.”
Trump approved Hamade in December 2023. This predates the 2024 GOP US House Primary in Arizona’s 8th Congressional District.
But then he issued an extraordinary double endorsement for both Hamade and another GOP primary candidate, BlakeMasters.

ABE Hamadeh of the House Republican Congress will leave the Capitol Hill Club after a meeting of the House Republican Conference on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.
Back in February, Hamade introduced a resolution restricting the types of flags that may appear in House facilities, but the text of the proposal states that “does not apply to individual individual spaces of members of the House.”
The resolution allows us to display American flags and various other types of flags. Some of these include “the flag of the representative district of the House of Representatives on display adjacent to the offices of such members” and “the flag that visits foreign officials during official visits.”
GOP lawmakers acknowledge Trump’s business capabilities for major investments in the state: “I know how to make a deal.”

“Congress is supposed to embody the American people, so that’s why we introduced a resolution in the Congressional Hall of Fame that bans foreign and ideological flags. It’s pathetic that we have to introduce this resolution,” Hamade declared in a tweet this month.
Six other House Republicans are listed as co-hosts of congress.gov this month, including three original co-sponsors and three other lawmakers listed as supporting the measure.

“You urged me and many other young men and women to boldly serve our country in our country’s armed service and the Congressional Hall of Fame,” Hamade wrote on June 14th to Trump marking the president’s 79th birthday and the 250th Army.
