President Donald Trump said on Sunday that Israel and Iran could “have to fight it” from time to time, expressing optimism that deals could be struck as the two countries continue to trade airstrikes amid fears of wider conflict in the Middle East.
When asked about his efforts to eliminate tensions between Israel and Iran, Trump was preparing to depart for Canada, and to depart for Canada.

Last week, Israel launched airstrikes targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities and military structures, killing dozens of people. Israel said operations were needed to stop this biggest enemy, Iran, from moving to building atomic weapons.
Iran has cancelled the sixth round of nuclear negotiations scheduled to be held in Oman following Israel’s strike in Tehran.

The attack led the Islamic Republic to retaliate with waves of missile strikes targeting various parts of Israel.
