Taxes on tips are politically popular and are a presidential important campaign promise, but the deficit-hawks coalition could block if the GOP can’t find income to cover the gap.

Trump is considering allowing individuals making more than $2.5 million to 39.6% from 37% to 39.6%, Fox News Digital reported Thursday.
Such a move will resonate with working-class Americans who elected the president. But many conservatives have signed pledges for years to raise taxes.
