President Trump signed an executive order Wednesday, aimed at eliminating a small number of federal advisory committees.
The order targets the Presidio Trust, the Inter-American Foundation, the American African Development Foundation, and the American Institute of Peace. All of these are federally funded.
The President is working with Elon Musk and the Government’s Department of Efficiency, or Doge, to actively reduce the size of the federal government, minimizing government waste and abuse and reducing inflation.

Reducing these agencies and federal advisory boards will save taxpayers dollars, reduce unnecessary government spending, and streamline government priorities.
The appointed organization will submit a report to the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB Director) for 14 days to ensure that they are compliant, and if and how much of the government agency is required I’ve explained it up to now.
Additionally, USAID administrators were asked to close the Advisory Committee on Voluntary Foreign Aid. The Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Agency must close the Academic Research Council and the Credit Union Advisory Committee. The FDIC Board must close the Community Bank Advisory Committee. The Secretary of Health and Human Services has been asked to close the Secretary’s Advisory Committee on Covid, and CMS administrators must close the Health Equity Advisory Committee.

The newly signed executive order, coinciding with one Trump signed Tuesday, directs Doge to coordinate with federal agencies and implement substantial cuts in federal staffing.
According to a White House fact sheet, the order has directed Doge and federal agencies to work together to “significantly” reduce the size of the federal government and limit the employment of new employees. Specifically, agents should not hire more than one employee for every four people leaving a federal post.
Agents will also be instructed to “force to undertake a plan for large scale reductions,” assessing how legally unnecessary agent functions can be eliminated or combined.

Trump also said within 30 days of the order, the President’s assistant for national security issues, economic policy and domestic policy should identify and submit a list of additional committees and boards for termination. I’m requesting it.
The Trump administration said Americans would elect President Trump to emit swamps and end government programs that have no effect on empowering the government without achieving measurable results.
Trump has also expressed his desire to provide voters with what he wants – “To address all of this ‘horrifying things’ and he told reporters he hopes the court system will work together. Ta.

“I hope the court system allows us to do what we have to do,” Trump says, and he always complies with court rulings but is ready to appeal. He added.
