Elon Musk may be easing his role in government efficiency (DOGE), but President Donald Trump has not tempered his praise.
On Wednesday, Trump signed in an oval office, brushing off critics, defending the technological mogul’s work on federal reform, and praised the smarts and patriotism of Mask.
“He’s an incredible…a great guy,” Trump said. “He was incredible help both in the campaign and in what he did with Doge.”
Started in 2025, Doge served as a feature of Trump’s second term agenda to reduce waste, streamline federal agencies, and apply private sector principles to federal operations.

Trump’s remarks came as tensions reached an all-time high for Tesla, the electric car company in Musk.
