President Donald Trump has called on Kentucky’s Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul, Maine’s Susan Collins and Alaska’s Lisa Markovsky to put public pressure on the Senate before the Senate vote on measures to abandon Canada’s tariff policy.
The joint resolution ends the national emergency declared over illegal drugs and Canada. With his executive order, Trump asked his North American neighbors to slap tariffs.
In a long, truthful social post before 1am on Wednesday, the president suggested that four GOP senators had “Trump Madness Syndrome.”
“I hope Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Markovsky of Alaska, and Rand Paul of Kentucky will fight the Democrats Wild and Fragrant push to drive on the Republican bandwagon and punish Canada to punish Canada for a fine to not punish Canada for sale. It will cost money to distribute and buy,” Trump declared.

“They play with the lives of Americans, falling into the hands of radical left Democrats and drug cartels. The Senate bill is Dems’ ploy to show and expose certain Republican weaknesses.
Trump has blown up four lawmakers to the GOP as “disincentive.”
“Aside from suffering from Trump Mad Syndrome, commonly known as TDS, what’s wrong with them? Who can make this happen to our beautiful family? Why? It makes the Republican Party itself great again!”
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney says that “old relationship” with us is “overwhelmed amid tensions over Trump’s tariffs.”
Paul is the co-organizer of the joint resolution.
Murkowski reportedly told Politico’s Lisa Kashinsky that she would vote for the resolution, but Collins said she was likely to support it, according to the outlet.

McConnell declared earlier this year in Op-Ed that “tax tariffs are a bad policy.”
