When President Donald Trump closed his remarks and invited Mrs. Melania Trump along the 50 in downtown Washington, a crowd of thousands began improvising “Happy Birthday.”
The president, who turned 79 on Saturday, smiled and paused as he gave way to a young army officer approaching with a folded US flag.
Officers presented Trump with a flag on behalf of the US Army Golden Knights and said he flew through the Capitol earlier in the day to commemorate the country’s oldest military division.

Trump was mostly blowbacked from the left, but was also blowbacked from the left to commemorate critics who pointed out that he fell on the birthday of critics.
“It’s scary about the parade, because this isn’t about celebrating our military,” Sen. D-Calif, a frequent critic of Trump, said in a recent podcast. “This is a show of military vanity for a president who has long wanted to roll into tanks on the streets of our country’s capital.”

D-Tenn. Rep. Steve Cohen, of the group, also recently drafted the Happy Birthday Budget Act, which bans taxpayers’ dollars to celebrate.

During the parade, Vice President J.D. V. V. V. V. noted that Saturday was the wedding anniversary of him and Second Lady Ushavance. It is also Flag Day, the date of 1777, when the Continental Congress adopted the Stars and Stripes flag of Betsy Roth.
