President Donald Trump’s administration has removed the age cap of immigration and customs enforcement (ICE) law enforcement and has begun a role for many who may have aged from the military.

Homeland Security Secretary Christie Noem announced Wednesday’s move amid a massive recruitment effort for the country’s immigration. Noem says they are about to hire 10,000 people and she says ICE has already received 80,000 applications.

“We have finished the ICE Law Enforcement Age Cap. Qualified candidates are now available to apply without age restrictions,” Noem writes in X.

“Please call all the patriots. Please submit your application today,” added Steven Miller, Deputy Chief of Staff of the White House.

Trump suggests border crackdowns will “save a lot of money” after a Stark drop from a Biden-era intersection

Homeland Security Secretary Christy Nom announced Wednesday that he would remove the age cap for ice officers.

ICE is trying to seduce more applicants with options that repay or allow signing bonuses up to $50,000, as well as student loans and other benefits.

Attacks on ice officials surge 830% as Democrats captured “doxing and physical assault” agents: DHS

“Your country is asking you to serve you with ice and protect your hometown,” acting ice director Todd Lyons said in a statement. “In the wake of the Biden administration’s open border policy, ice-focused men and women are now facing unprecedented challenges in eliminating millions of illegal criminal aliens from our country. Now they have the funds to hire and hire Americans who want to serve their country and protect their American communities.”

The recruitment efforts are as agencies continue to increase operations to combat illegal immigration, in order to counter illegal immigration, in addition to illegal entry to those who have been illegally convicted and accused.

Assaults against agents have risen by 830% amid riots and protests across the country, including last month in the Los Angeles area, according to DHS.

“ICE law enforcement officers should expect a certain level of risk when performing their duties. However, they are skillfully trained and all precautions are taken by ICE in terms of protecting the well-being of officers,” the website says.
