President Donald Trump on Sunday called on Republicans to respond to “destroyers and troublemakers” by “quickly kicking them out” at some of these events hosted by GOP lawmakers.
Trump argued that “radical left Democrats” are “paying their wealth to infiltrate people.”
“These great patriot politicians should not treat them well,” Trump wrote of the true society. “We’ll get them to be kicked out of the room right away. They’re destroyers and troublemakers.”
The president said the GOP lawmakers need to quell the idea that the event’s destroyers are Republican opposition who are unhappy with the actions and policies promoted by his administration and the party.

“You have to allow the audience to know what you’re against, or else they’ll think they’re Republicans and the party has opposition,” Trump wrote.
“There’s nothing but love and unity. Republicans are happy with what’s going on in our country. We all love America!” he continued.
This is because in recent months, several Republican lawmakers have faced intense criticism from city hall attendees about some of Trump’s policies.
Some Republican leaders have urged members not to keep in-person city halls due to concerns that “protesters” and democratic activists could hijack in-person events, and instead urged them to hold phone and live-streaming events.

“We have encouraged our members to communicate directly with their members, and they are eager to do that,” R-La. House Speaker Mike Johnson said at a press conference last month. “There are different ways and forums to do that. You can do it at the telephone city hall. You can have a small subgroup of people from different industries and segments of the community. Now you can see that it’s very productive and productive than going to an open forum. Why have you seen this movie?
However, some Republican lawmakers continue to hold city halls in person with their constituents.
R-Ga. Councilman Marjorie Taylor Greene held the town hall earlier this month where at least six people were taken away. Three people who escorted the event were arrested.

“I’m not threatened by Democrats who tried to close my town hall tonight,” Green said after the April 15 event.
Other Republican lawmakers, including Florida Rep. Byron Donald and Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley, were involved in a fierce exchange at a town hall event this month, trying to protect the moves the Trump administration had made.
