(Hill) – President Trump said Friday that he was “not interested” in banishing Harry, who lives with his wife Meghan Markle, who is now resident of Montecito, California.
“I don’t want to do that,” Trump told the New York Post. “I’ll leave him alone. He has enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible.”
Last February, Trump accused former President Biden of “Harry’s protection,” adding that he wouldn’t do the same if he defeated the White House.
“He betrayed the Queen. Trump spoke to the UK’s Daily Express in an interview, adding that if Harry is re-elected, Harry will “be his own.”
Trump said in an interview with the New York Post on Friday that he thinks “poor Harry” is a “whip” by Markle.
Trump has previously criticised Prince Harry and Markle for reported differences with the royal family. In 2023, he told radio host Hugh Hebitt: [Harry and Markle] When they came here we had security. ”
The royal couple has also expressed their disapproval of Trump for many years, with Markle calling him “divisibility” and “morbidity” in the 2016 presidential election. Trump later called Markle’s comments about him “trouble.”
On Friday, Trump praised Prince Harry’s brother Prince William, calling him a “great young man.”
The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, has investigated the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for information on Prince Harry’s immigration status. The think tank alleged that the department “improperly acknowledged” his visa after the royal family disclosed personal drug use in his memoir “Spare.”
In 2023, the DHS request was denied, but the judge is still considering the case, according to the Associated Press.
