President Donald Trump’s second public meeting with the White House Cabinet on Thursday said there is a deadline for illegal immigrants to be left from the United States any time soon, or that he is not allowed to legally re-enter the country.

The president’s comments expressed his willingness to work with undocumented immigrants “from the start” and to help them legally return to the country, meaning if they leave “in a good way,” the president added.

“We’re going to work with people and work with them from the very beginning to try and get out in a good way and return to their country,” Trump said following a comment from Homeland Security Secretary Christy Noem.

Trump administrators will announce plans to immigrants pose large fines daily.

“We’re going to work with people and work with them to try and legally return to their country if they’re going out in a good way, and then we’re going to work with them,” President Donald Trump said Thursday in a meeting with cabinet members from the White House. (Getty Images | ap)

“So it gives you a real incentive. Otherwise, they will never come back. After a certain period of time, they will never be allowed. This will probably be 60 days.”

The Trump administration is currently making large, voluntary removal efforts, with federal officials encouraging immigrants to encourage the United States to illegally reside in the administration’s CBP Home App. More than 5,000 migrants were self-reported over the last month, according to Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

“This is a very big self-abolition operation we’re starting,” Norm said at a cabinet meeting Thursday.

Noem noted that under the Alien Registration Act and the President’s Executive Order, if undocumented immigrants have not yet registered their status with the federal government, they will be criminally charged, face fines of up to $1,000 per day, and will not be able to get the chance to return to America.

She added that agencies are working to secure funds and resources to ensure that deported migrants rise up when they return to their country, and refer to programs in places like Mexico, El Salvador and Colombia that provide food and housing aid.

“[We are] It’s important that these people have the opportunity to return home and get the opportunity to return to America,” Noem told Trump and his cabinet.
