President Donald Trump on Thursday celebrated the passage of Congress’s “Big Beautiful Building,” deeming it promising as “the largest bill ever signed,” explaining it “will make the country a rocket ship.” That would be really great.”
Earlier in the day, the House narrowly approved the package with 218-214 votes after a continuing marathon session at Capitol Hill. This is the final hurdle after the Senate passed the measure early in the week.
He said only two people, Rep. Thomas Massey of Kentucky and Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, voted against the bill. Zero Democrats supported it.

“Well, I’ve disappointed it [Fitzpatrick] I did that. There were two people who voted, and I was disappointed that he voted no,” Trump said.
He welcomed the results as a sign of GOP Unity heading for Independence Day weekend.
“It was very easy to get through the house when we passed the bill,” Trump said.

Trump touted the wide range of the bill, adding that it would provide “the biggest tax cut in history” along with major investments in border security and military forces.
“It’s great for security, it’s excellent at the southern border, it covers immigration. We cover almost everything. Again, this is the biggest bill ever signed,” the president said.
“Record numbers will grow,” he added.
The White House said the bill would “create historic economic growth to guide America’s golden age.”
“This bill has combined it with many other pro-post policies that will provide Americans with the biggest tax cuts in history and reduce our deficits and debt. America will take off like a rocket!” White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson told Fox News Digital.

“We signed around 5pm and we’re planning on flying the B-2, F-22 and F-35 over the White House around 5pm, so we’re going to sign a beautiful plane flying over our heads,” he told reporters at Tarmac.
