President Donald Trump vowed to bring home two NASA astronauts who have been stuck in space for eight months, signing executive orders in his oval office on Thursday.

Their mission began on June 5th, 2024 and was scheduled to last for only eight days.
Due to many issues with the spacecraft, NASA thought it was not safe to bring astronauts back to Earth.
It returned to the unmanned planet.

One astronaut recently confirmed that former President Joe Biden had rejected Musk’s offer, SpaceX CEO, the New York Post reported.
Trump on Thursday said Biden “leaked them” into space because he was “embarrassing what happened.”

He continued, “The most incompetent president in our history has allowed it to happen to you, but this president won’t let it happen.”

SpaceX’s Dragon Spacecraft is scheduled to be released for the plane to head to the Space Station on Wednesday, and will return home with Willmore and Williams after a few days of handover period.
Trump later joked with Doucy about joining the mission.
“Should we go on that journey to board the boat when we stop?” the president asked Doucy.
Doocy replied, “If it’s an option, yes.”

“We should do it,” Trump replied with a laugh. “That’s terrible. He thought I liked it.”

Another reporter cried out that the president should stay on earth. “She likes me more,” Trump replied.
