President Donald Trump said that whether he would register for a military strike targeting Iranian nuclear facilities will be in the air, whether there are comments that his administration came when it was involved in growing conflict between Israel and Iran.

Trump told reporters outside the White House on Wednesday that he had not ruled out whether the US would attack Iran’s nuclear facilities, but that he would be “very big next week.”

Additionally, Trump said Iranian capital Tehran is facing many problems as he aims to come to the negotiation table after abandoning its scheduled consultations on Sunday.

“Yes, I might do that. I might not do that. I mean no one knows what I’m trying to do. Iran has a lot of trouble and they can say they want to negotiate,” Trump told reporters Wednesday. “And I said, why did you not negotiate with me before all of this death and destruction? Why did you tell people? Why did you not negotiate with me two weeks ago? Were you fine? You would have had a country.

Trump previously said he believed Iran was very close to obtaining nuclear weapons and urged Iran to sign a nuclear deal. Talks were scheduled for in Oman on Sunday between the US and Iran, but Iran withdrew from debate on Friday.

Trump doubled in his previous statement on Wednesday, claiming Iran is unable to obtain nuclear weapons.

Israeli-Iran conflict: Live Update

“This is not a threat you can have, and we have been threatened by Iran for many years,” Trump said. “If you go back and look at my history, you say that if you go back 15 years ago, you won’t get nuclear weapons in Iran. I’ve been saying that for a long time.”

As a result, Trump told reporters that he offered Iran the “ultimate ultimate.”

“Maybe you can call it the ultimate – the ultimate ultimate, right?” he said.

Tensions between Israel and Iran escalated Thursday after Israel launched a massive airstrike on Iranian nuclear sites. In response, Iran also launched a strike against Israel to strongly strengthen the two military operations against each other.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio initially said the US was not involved in the strike against Iran, but Trump later told Reuters he knew about the attack beforehand.

Meanwhile, Iran said the US participating in the conflict would mean “all-out war.”

“The US intervention will be a recipe for an all-out war in the region,” Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghhai said Wednesday in an interview with Al Jazeera English.

Trump has long warned that Iran could face military consequences if it fails to negotiate a nuclear deal, and signed an executive order in February, directing Iran to implement “the greatest economic pressure” through a series of sanctions aimed at sinking Iran’s oil exports.
