President Donald Trump said on Tuesday he will talk with Russian President Vladimir Putin about the final point of the deal to end the war in Ukraine.
In his true social platform post, Trump said many “elements” of the final agreement were agreed to “but many ruins.”
“Thousands of young soldiers, others are killed. Each week, it brings about the deaths of 2,500 soldiers from both sides. “I am very positive about my call with President Putin.”
Trump and Putin are expected this week.

Some points of the discussion could include territorial concessions by Kyiv and control of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
The Trump administration has been working on a contract to end the three-year war. Russia’s Deputy Minister Alexander Grushiko reportedly said the Kremlin wanted a “iron-like” guarantee that Ukraine would ban it from participating in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
Last week, White House spokesman Caroline Leavitt told reporters that “we have never come close to peace” as the US is waiting for Russia’s answer in a 30-day ceasefire agreement.
Ukraine accepted the deal early in the week after meetings with US Saudi officials, conditioned on Moscow’s commitment to the plan.
Putin is not in a hurry to propose a “Trump Time” ceasefire

Ukrainian President Voldymir Zelenki has called for stricter sanctions on Russia and accused Putin of trying to drag out peace talks to extend the war.
“It’s clear to everyone in the world, even to those who have refused to admit the truth for the past three years. It’s Putin who continues to drag this war,” the Ukrainian leader wrote on Monday in X.
He called on world leaders to pressure Moscow to end the conflict.

“The unconditional ceasefire proposal is essentially life-saving and allowing diplomats to work on ensuring security and lasting peace. This is a proposal that Russia is ignoring,” he said. “We need pressure to accept that Moscow will ultimately have to end their war.”
