Trump wants foreign students who don’t cause trouble and wants to criticize Harvard’s funds

President Donald Trump said at a press conference in the Oval Office on Friday that he was in favour of allowing international students on U.S. university campuses and made it clear that he was opposed to welcoming students “provoking trouble.”

President Trump has selected Harvard University, which fired fires in both public opinion and court, noting that nearly 30% of students are foreigners.

“Our country has given Harvard over $5 billion over a short period of time,” he said. “No one knew that. We found it. I knew it. [Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)] Things, however, over a period of time, I discovered that it was a kind of Trump thing. ”

Demonstrators will meet on April 25, 2025 in Cambridge, showing support for Palestinians outside Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in protest of Harvard’s stance on Harvard University.

Trump is down, but not a courtroom fight over Harvard’s foreign student visa

During the ongoing lawsuits stemming from the president as “very anti-Semitic,” he said he discovered that the government had given them more than $5 billion in funding.

US District Judge Allison D. Burrows on Thursday upheld a court order blocking the Trump administration from revoking Harvard’s recognition under the Student and Exchange Visitors Program (SEVP).

Homeland Security Secretary Christie Noem cited Harvard’s allegations of “promoting violence, anti-Semitism and coordination with the Chinese Communist Party on its campus” in pursuit of abolishing Harvard’s SEVP accreditation.

“We have it with them, so let’s see what happens,” Trump said. “I think it’s a very good case for us. It’s a very sad case. It’s a case where we win. We have the right to make a grant, so we can’t lose that case. We’re not going to make such grants.”

He went on to say Harvard is “not acting very well,” and other institutions, such as Columbia University in New York City, “want to reach the bottom of the problem.”

“They’re acting really well, and there are other institutions that are acting, but Harvard is about to become a big name,” Trump said. “And every three days that happens, you find something that’s given another $100 million.”

Two days ago, the president said his administration had found an additional $200 million grant given to Harvard.

“Money was given like gravy,” he said.

The State Department is currently scrutinizing all visa holders related to Harvard.

Offering an alternative, Trump said he hopes to get money towards creating the world’s best trading school system.

“I want to see money go to commercial schools where you learn how to repair motors and engines. “Because someone has to build those rocket ships.”

“Yes,” cried Elon Musk, who left Doge on Friday, from near the president’s desk.

“I want to establish a trade school because it can spend hundreds of billions more on $5 billion. “That’s what you need to build his rockets and his robots and what he’s doing and lots of other things.”

He added that he went to school with “I can fix the car’s engine better than anyone I’ve ever seen” and “please give me a blindfold.”

Jarrod Coffman, owner of Colorado-based BusinessCoffman Construction, told Fox & Friends First on Tuesday that homes built in the US are the most expensive ever, but the contractors who build the homes don’t have an unprecedented education.

“We’re turning a bit of a turnout that schools are beginning to reimplement trade programs on them, which is good, but a lot of them face budget issues so we actually got to see this really beneficial,” Coffman said.

He added that he will address housing deficits while reducing costs and providing education.

“It’s a very skilled job,” Trump said. “I want to see a lot of money at trade schools. I’ve always felt that. We probably found a pot of gold, which is what’s wasted in places like Harvard.”
