President Donald Trump was on Saturday, Sen. R-Ky. warned that if he voted against Trump’s “big, beautiful bill,” it would “in the hands of Democrats.”
“If Senator Rand Paul votes against our great, big and beautiful bill, he is voting along with radical left-wing Democrats to raise taxes by 68% and perhaps even more importantly, the first default on US debt,” Trump wrote on a True Saturday afternoon.
“Rand will be in the hands of Democrats and the great people in Kentucky will never forgive him! In addition to the growth we are experiencing, some cost savings will solve all the problems later. America will be bigger than ever!”
Paul told Fox News Sunday last weekend that he supports reducing taxes and spending on the bill. He still “ccused me of bearishness and anemia, but I would still support the bill. The trillion.”

The bill narrowly passed the House of Representatives on May 22nd and will soon be voted in the Senate.
R-Wis. Others, like Senator Ron Johnson of the bill, have also expressed concern about the bill.

Last weekend, Trump told reporters he was open to changes to the bill.
“I want the senators and senators to make the changes they want,” he said. “It goes back to the house and see if we can get them. In some cases, the changes are something I agree with, and to be honest.”
In addition to tax cuts, one big beautiful bill law also includes stricter requirements for access to Medicaid, changes to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) program, and no tax on overtime and tips.

Democrats denounced the Medicaid reform section of the bill, referring to possible cuts as a driving issue ahead of the 2026 competitive midterm elections.
The Congressional Budget Office (CBO), a nonpartisan analyst in the US, estimates that 8.6 million people in the US will lose their health insurance through Medicaid reforms in one big beautiful bill law by 2034.
“The Democrats are focusing on this particular attack that 13.7 million Americans lose their health care, which is blatantly wrong,” R-Ind. Rep. Erin Huchin told Fox News Digital in an exclusive interview this week.

“Five million of these people have received tax credits under the Affordable Care Act passed by Democrats on the Sunset date, and we simply allow the Sunset date to expire as Democrats originally intended,” Huchin said.

The CBO estimates that 13.7 million Americans will lose compensation by 2034. Many Democrats have deployed the figures in their campaign messages, refusing to reject Trump’s bill in the House.
“The CBO scores, neither should either the American people, because it has proven to be fiercely apart over and over,” added Houchin, who served on three major committees leading budget markup, including the House Rules, Budget, Energy and Commerce Committee.
