As anti-ice riots roared in Los Angeles, Congressional Democrats marked the 13th anniversary of DACA at a press conference, during which D-Ill’s D-Ill. Rep. Delia Ramirez accused President Donald Trump of unleashing a “terrifying campaign” on illegal immigration.
DACA, or deferred lawsuits for childhood arrivals, are US immigration policies that protect the deportation of eligible immigrants arriving as children.
Speaking just outside the Capitol Building on Wednesday, Ramirez denounced Trump, border border Tom Homan, Homeland Security Adviser Stephen Miller, and the entire administration targeting anyone they consider “undesirable.” She also promoted a conspiracy theory that the president targets American citizens, just as the president deported criminal immigrants.
“Trump, Homan, Miller and this whole administration have launched a fear campaign against our family, our families, our families, as they move forward their fascist agenda and cast immigrants as public enemies,” Ramirez said.

“Let’s say that and I’m going to say I won’t apologise for it,” she added. “No bans are needed, no walls are needed. No raids are needed. No tricks are needed. No masked agents are needed to terrorize the community. No military attacks attacking neighbors. We need to put an end to our terror tactics.”
Newsom says the Los Angeles riots will be charged, and Trump will slap our community to “get traumatized.”
Los Angeles has been shaking since Friday with fiery riots and clashes with police and federal authorities. The riots began on Friday in response to ice-related immigration enforcement efforts in the city.
In response, Trump deployed federal national security forces and hundreds of Marines to help restore order.
The move has been heavily criticized by Democrats who accused Trump of intentionally causing riots.

“The illegal activities used against immigrants today will be used tomorrow for those whom this administration doesn’t want because fascism always demands a public enemy,” Ramirez argued. “That’s why we need to stand with our DACA recipients and we need to stand with our parents.
“We must also stand with their uncles and their sisters and their Tias and our small businesses and our teachers and our LGBTQ and everyone this administration is attacking.”
Despite Ramirez’s targeting Trump administration’s innocent “Tias,” federal immigration authorities have detailed criminal charges against offences arrested on the ice.

This week, ICE released information on charges against offences arrested in Los Angeles during an ongoing riot. On Wednesday, Ice said he had arrested Mexican citizen Jesus Romero Letana.
Ice also said he arrested an illegal Cambodian named Mabu Kleb in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The agency said he was sentenced to indecent behavior with children, batteries and multiple drug offences. ICE said it had arrested criminal illegals “despite the best efforts of anti-ice protesters in the city.”
