Exclusive: The Campaign Advertising War has already begun in the Governor primary of the Arizona Republican Party, more than a year away from the August 2026 election.
Turning Point PAC announced Tuesday it will launch $500,000 media purchases across platforms to support Rep. Andy Biggs with “strategic cable, over-the-top, radio and direct voter placement” targeting Arizona voters. The ads begin on Tuesday and air for the next 3.5 weeks. Ads will be broadcast on Fox News’ locally designated market area slots, targeted digital ads as well as conservative talk radio streaming services.
“Andy Biggs was the best Senate the Arizona Senate President had for decades, and he was President Trump’s most trusted friend in Congress. He was recruited by Trump, supported by Charlie Kirk, and Turning Point Action was approved.”
“The momentum of his campaign is already built with incredible clips, and we’re barely beginning. The media purchases are combined with Biggs’ impressive media exposure, showing how enthusiastic he is to make Andy Bigs the governor of Arizona,” he added.

Representative Andy Biggs, a Republican from Arizona, will speak to media members when he departs during the 118th Congress meeting at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.
The effort comes when the group holds a weekend gathering in the Phoenix area to support Biggs.
“It’s truly historic to see a room packed with thousands of Bigs Supporters who have been far from the Primary, and it’s evidence of the grassroots energy that’s already gathered behind his campaign,” TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk said in a statement. The organization is headquartered in Arizona.
“There’s no world where voters don’t know that Andy Biggs is on the ballot, and the more who knows, the more his double-digit lead over all other competitors will grow.

In the primary, the Biggs are facing businessman and former Arizona Board member Karrin Taylor Robson, who sought nominations in 2022 but lost to Kari Lake. Taylor Robson’s allies said she spends the amount that “talking to voters on all platforms.” Her campaign recently promoted “millions of dollars” ad purchases in April with commercial promotions promoting Trump’s support.
“We are proud and honored that President Trump has reaffirmed his support for our campaign,” Taylor Robson said in a statement at the time. “It’s time for us to first lead the first US and Arizona leadership to voters in Arizona. Katie Hobbs was a disaster and tried to stand up in the way President Trump is. As governor, I will work with President Trump to build a stronger border, a stronger economy, a stronger and safer Arizona.”
Taylor Robson’s allies added that the turning point decision to spend on this early ad would affirm it was a competitive race.

The ads that push this early are testament to the Grand Canyon state’s competitiveness and one of the most widely viewed swing states in November, and Trump cleaned it. Cook’s political report is currently ranking the governor’s race.
