Police are looking for two drivers connected to a deadly hit-and-run, including three different vehicles that occurred Saturday night.
Officers were dispatched to the Ocean Boulevard and Falcon Avenue areas for reporting the crash around 9:30pm, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
When officers arrived, the man was found lying on the road. He was declared dead at the scene.
His identity has not been released.
Six teenagers have been hospitalized, including five people suffering life-threatening injuries after filming at a party in Moreno Valley
“Preliminary investigations revealed an unknown dark sedan was moving east on Ocean Boulevard when it struck an adult male pedestrian on a crosswalk marked at the intersection of Falcon Avenue. The driver quickly escaped the collision,” LBPD said in a news release. “a [second vehicle] They were moving east along Ocean Boulevard when they attacked a pedestrian lying on the road. The driver quickly handed over after realising they were involved in the collision. ”
The BMW X3-, a 59-year-old Tustin resident who drives the second vehicle, is said to be working with police.
Police say the third vehicle, which is described as just a dark sedan, was moving eastward down Ocean Boulevard after the second collision, when it hit a pedestrian at sea.
The third car driver did not stop him from providing assistance or identifying himself as required by the law.
Authorities ask Los Angeles County residents to talk about the deputy gang.
“At this point, speed and distracted driving are considered factors that contribute to the collision of vehicles that escape the scene,” Long Beach police said.
