Two people died overnight in a crash at a gas station in Los Angeles, authorities say.
Preliminary information from a CHP spokesman shows officers were dispatched to the intersection of Normandy Avenue and Century Boulevard around Westmont at 12:05am on Wednesday.

Upon arrival, officers found the two dead at the scene. The spokesman could not confirm whether he was traveling on the same vehicle.
Neither victim was immediately identified.

Video from the scene obtained by KTLA shows that the grey Honda SUV, one of the two vehicles involved in The Wreck, has come to rest next to the gas pump after taking out a signal. The Silver Buick SUV, another vehicle involved, was seen in the middle of the road.
Both cars had suffered severe damage, footage showed.

It is unclear what caused the crash, but a CHP spokesperson confirmed that it was not a hit and run.
According to CHP Traffic Incident Log, the intersection of Normandy and Century was closed until 5:45am.
