Two suspects have been arrested for theft targeting a retail store in Orange County.
On May 3, security guards at Irvine Spectrum Mall reported “suspectful people” seen on the mall’s premises.
Irvine police arrived at the scene and found a male suspect driving away from the area while committing “multiple vehicle code violations.”
The officers eventually pulled the vehicle and found two men. Christian Hernandez Jaramiro, 36, and 28-year-old David Zamir Zuarez Ramos, both resident of Ontario.
In their car, police found stolen items worth more than $1,200 from Lululemon and Vuori stores.

Two lined booster bags were also found. Booster bags are usually lined with materials that provide electromagnetic shielding on the security tag, allowing thieves to steal items without detection.
Both men were arrested for robbery, possession of robbery tools, organized retail theft, receiving stolen property and driving without a license. They were booked at the Orange County Jail.
No further details have been made as the investigation remains ongoing.
