The suspects missed cash and jewels after robbing two Taco Benders from Highland Park overnight, police say.
According to a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to a robbery report on York Boulevard and Avenue 53 just before 11:45pm on Sunday.
“Preliminary information shows that two armed male suspects received currency and jewels from employees of the TACO truck,” a spokesman told KTLA. “When the officers arrived, the suspect was gone.”

The second robber victim’s report came just after about two blocks away. However, LAPD was unable to see much of the information surrounding this victim, only to have been taken away by what appears to be another facility a little further away from the first truck that was targeted.
As of 7am on Monday, the suspect remained unpaid. No injuries have been reported, according to LAPD.
