Culver City Restaurant employees endured a horrific ordeal when they tried to take the destructive man out of the facility.
In a news release, Culver Police Department officials said officers responded to the February 10 incident in the 13,400 block of Washington Boulevard just after 3pm.
After an employee tried to take the man out of the restaurant, the suspect harassed the employee, jumped over the counter, entered the kitchen area, and began to disrupt the operation of the business.
“The suspect was reported to be an armed and threatening employee,” police said.
When the first mate arrived, he witnessed the man actively moving forward on the female workers, and brought her back to the corner as she tried to escape.

He was able to place himself between the suspect and the woman and detain him after the man failed to obey his orders.
Witnesses told police that the employee tried to lock the suspect out of the restaurant, but grabbed one of the female employees and jumped over the counter before grabbing another employee.
The man was booked at Culver City Jail on charges of sexual assault and will be in custody until he appears in his next courthouse, police said.
