Trump’s transition team quickly responded to Monday’s decision, vowing to appeal. They also took aim at what they described as the “political weaponization” of the court.

The case will continue to be appealed,” Stephen Chan, Trump’s transition press secretary and incoming White House communications director, told Fox News in a statement on Monday.
