Undocumented immigrants participating in anti-Trump “Give Hands!” Larry said on Saturday that she “don’t be afraid” to publicly flash up immigrant status and sexual orientation.
“I’m an immigrant, and I’m undocumented, fearless, weird and embarrassing,” longtime left-wing immigration activist Gresa Martinez Rosas told people attending Washington, D.C. over the weekend, according to a report by The New York Post.
With protests against Trump’s administration’s immigration and cost-cutting policies spreading around the country recently, comments have spread across the country as they denounce the president for deportation and pushes to rush and thwart federal agencies through government efficiency.

Rosace is originally from Hidalgo, Mexico, but came to the United States as a child, reports that she eventually grew up in the Dallas area. She has since been executive director of United We Dream, a network of young immigrants of over 400,000 people.
Her comments came in front of tens of thousands of protesters who attended a rally in the country’s capital, one of more than 1,000 protests held nationwide on Saturday.
The report points out that Rosas’ comments were quickly spreading through word of mouth on social media, and that not all users were keen on her message.

According to the post, one user from X said.
“I’ll lock her up,” another said.
Others said her public declaration would likely land her on the radar of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE).

“The only thing she didn’t tell the ice was her home address,” said one X user. “I’m sure they can look into it.”
“I think we’ll see her arrest later this week. Thank you for letting Ice know where you are,” another added.
