Good news! After an executive from a company talks about the potential for living on the land of Oz, an “evil” themed attraction could come to Universal Studios’ theme park.
Universal’s theme park chief Mark Woodbury discussed the possibilities in an interview with The New York Times and teased the “secret plan” of the evil attraction.
This is not the first time Universal has developed a popular Broadway show and current film-themed experience. Before the release of the “Wicked” film last October, Universal Studios’ Hollywood introduced the film’s props and released new film-themed foods and merchandise.
New character interaction, Drone Show comes to Universal Studios Hollywood’s first fanfest event
At Universal Studios Orlando, guests had the opportunity to visit “Wicked: Experience.” There, visitors were able to see Shizu University, Emerald City and other evil places.
According to a blog post, Universal Studios Japan also held an abbreviation version of the Broadway show from 2006 to 2011.
Due to the success of “Evil” films, many universal fans wonder if evil theme parks will appear in the film and where it is. Some thought it was the epic universe, Universal Studios Orlando’s latest theme park, which is scheduled to open in May.
Other Universal Studios theme park attractions are based on successful film releases. In 2023, Universal Studios Hollywood opened the Super Nintendo world in connection with the release of “Super Mario Bros. Film.” New attractions based on “How to Train a Dragon” will also come to the epic universe.
Woodbury did not share where the proposed evil charm lies.
