Editor’s Note: KTLA contacted the US Department of Homeland Security to comment on the issue prior to its publication. At the time of publication, DHS was not responding. KTLA will update this article with new information that is now available.

The woman who filmed a video of a moment of tragic ordeal before she was taken into custody this week in the wake of a massive federal immigrant raid on a farm in Ventura County this week has not been explained before she was taken into custody.

The video, obtained and sent by @mrcheckpoint_, shows a woman identified only as Irma standing on a metal scaffold within Camarillo’s marijuana cultivation facility, speaking in Spanish in the Spanish language below during the raid on Thursday.

Sennett Devermont, the man behind the @mrcheckpoint_account, has always founded the People’s Foundation, but previously told KTLA that he uses pages as a way to promote accountability and transparency in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.

The attack on the Ventura County Farm is waiting for families, workers still hiding

You can say, “Hagan Lo Que Hagan … Digan Lo Que Digan, I won’t make Bajar a voy.”

Agents can be seen setting up a dungeon to get Irma. However, the video ended there, with no words as to whether Irma spontaneously descending or being removed forcefully from the scaffolding.

Also, there is no further footage showing what happened to Irma before and after the attack.

A video sent from @mrcheckpoint_ shows a woman identified solely as Irma on top of the marijuana cultivation facility in Camarillo, a marijuana cultivation facility in Glasshouse Farm during the raid that took place on Thursday, July 10, 2025. Glass House House Farm Marijuana Marijuana spoke Spanish in Spanish in Spanish below during RAID held on Thursday, July 10th, 2025. In it, Irma explained what the agent was doing. The post provided a translation of the message.

Audio messages sent to the family from IRMA were included in the video sent to KTLA on @MrCheckpoint_. In it, Irma explained what the agent was doing. The post provided a translation of the message.

“They’re capturing us. They were using something to defeat the young man,” says the translated message. “They were shooting rubber bullets at us. They’re attacking us a lot.”

Orders ordering the Trump administration order to stop indiscriminate immigration and arrests in California

According to a post published late Friday night by @mrcheckpoint_, Irma is from Guatemala and has no family in the US. She came to the US to help her daughter live a better life and work on both the farm and the restaurant, he pointed out in the post.

“She was only on the farm for five weeks, and now she’s gone,” he said. “Her loved ones have searched all the detention systems, but there is no answer. There is no update. The last thing I’ve heard from her is the video we’re watching the ladder.”

“I don’t know how she got off,” he continued. “Has she collapsed? Has she been dragged over? Is she okay too?”

Thursday’s raid at Camarillo, Glasshouse Farms Marijuana Growth Facility coincided with operations at another Glasshouse Farm location in Carpinteria. More than 200 people were arrested in these attacks and saw federal agents deploy tear gas to hundreds of individuals gathered near the Camarillo Farm in protest.

A total of four U.S. citizens are currently being charged with attacking or resisting officials, the Department of Homeland Security later said. A statement released by DHS on Friday said the operations stemmed from criminal warrants.

Workers are removed from life support after being injured during a California farm attack

“On July 10, 2025, federal law enforcement officials carried out criminal warrant activities on marijuana. “During the operation, at least 10 migrant children were rescued from potential exploitation, forced labor and human trafficking. Federal officials also arrested about 200 illegal aliens from both Carpinteria and Camarillo sites.”

Glasshouse Farm is currently being investigated for alleged child labor violations. In a statement, the company said they were in full cooperation with US immigration and customs enforcement officials but did not further elaborate. It is unknown whether any of the attacked facilities are still operating.

People also gathered in Camarillo on Friday to find out more about their loved ones affected by the Glasshouse Farm attack. Some have already reunited with their families, while others, like Irma, were not explained immediately.
