US bombing of Iran’s nuclear sites triggers a strong response beyond the political spectrum

After President Donald Trump announced a US military strike over three Iranian nuclear facilities, political leaders across the country responded with a range of responses, from support to sharp condemnation.

On Saturday, Trump revealed that the US had conducted a bombing operation targeting nuclear sites in Fold, Natanz and Esfahan in truth. He described the mission as a success.

“We have completed a very successful attack on three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordou, Natanz and Esfahan,” writes Trump.

“Currently, all planes are outside Iran’s airspace. A large number of bombs have been dropped on the primary site. All planes are safe on the way home.” “Congratulations to our great American warriors. There are no other troops in the world that could have done this. Now is the time of peace!”

Vice President JD Vance reposted the president’s message to X but did not publish another comment.

However, several lawmakers expressed concern about both the legality and potential consequences of the strike. Speaking at a campaign rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, crowds responded, “There’s no more war!”

“I agree, and I want to tell you something,” Sanders said. “Not only is this news that I just heard this second surprise, it’s very unconstitutional. I know that the only one who can bring this country to war is the US Congress. The President has no rights.”

Reflecting similar constitutional concerns in the X post, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said, “The President’s disastrous decision to be a serious violation of the power of the Constitution and the power of the Congress of the War is a serious violation of the power of the Constitution and the power of the Congress of the Congress.

In the time leading up to the announcement, Senator Marjorie Taylor Greene posted a message against his involvement in foreign conflicts, saying, “Every time America builds greatness, we are involved in another foreign war.

After the attack was confirmed, Greene posted a follow-up message urging prayers to the American troops and civilians. “Let’s join together and pray for the safety of the US military and Americans in the Middle East.

California Governor Gavin Newsom is on the strike from a security standpoint. “Following the president’s actions in Iran, the California state threat assessment center is actively monitoring the potential impacts of California.

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass also gained weight, focusing on local public safety measures. In a statement posted to X, she said: “Following the bombings in Iran, Los Angeles is closely monitoring threats to public safety. There are no known and reliable threats at this time, and the LAPD is stepping up patrols near places of worship, community gatherings and other sensitive locations.

“Tonight, the president ignored the constitution by unilaterally engaging the military without Congress’ permission,” Nancy Pelosi added to X.

At present, there is no official confirmation from the Department of Defense regarding operational details. International responses and potential retaliatory actions remain uncertain.
