The Vice President is expected to discuss how Los Angeles was destroyed amidst violent protests against Trump’s administration’s immigration enforcement.
Vance is also expected to discuss how California politicians have options, opting to ignore federal law and turn their backs on law enforcement.
President Donald Trump ordered the National Guard to Los Angeles in early June to support law enforcement amid violent protests.
The Trump administration has also sent hundreds of Marines to support law enforcement.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom sued the Trump administration for commanding the National Guard, but said a unanimous ruling from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday allowed Trump to maintain control of the National Guard troops deployed in Los Angeles.

The ruling maintains a lower court order that ordered the command of the army back to California Governor Gavin Newsom.
The president has not decided since 1965 on the deployment of the National Guard without the permission of the state governor.
In his post to Truth Society on Thursday night, Trump praised the Court of Appeal for the decision, saying it was a victory.
“A big victory in the president’s core appeals court to call the President’s National Guard in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals! The judge clearly realized that Gavin Newscam is incompetent and inadequate, but this is much greater than Gavin, and our city and our people, if they need to protect them, than in the US. America is proud of you tonight to protect and defend laws that protect Americans!” he posted.
