Vance says Musk makes a “big mistake” by chasing Trump, but tries to downplay the attack.

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (AP) – Vice President J.D. Vice President Vance said Elon Musk is making a “giant mistake” chasing President Donald Trump in a bitter, inflammatory social media post after he was dropped between the two men.

However, the vice president tried to downplay the ferocious attacks of Musk as an annoyed “emotional man” in an interview released Friday after a very public exploded between the world’s wealthiest man and arguably the most powerful man in the world.

“I hope Elon will eventually fold, maybe it wasn’t possible now because he’s now at the core,” Vance said.

Vance’s comments come as other Republicans recently urged two men who were close allies to spend a fair amount of time repairing the fence a few months ago.

The torrent of masks over social media posts attacking Trump came when the president portrayed him as grievance and “crazy” and threatened to cut down government contracts held by his companies.

Musk, who runs electric car maker Tesla, internet company Starlink and Rocket Company SpaceX, has denounced Trump’s centrepiece tax cuts and spending bills, but has proposed that Trump should be bounced and argued without evidence that he is hiding information about the association with President’s pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

“Look, it happens to everyone,” Vance said in an interview. “I jumped out of the handle which is worse than Elon Musk did in the last 24 hours.”

Vance made a comment in an interview with “Manosphere” comedian Theo Fon. He joked about smoking drugs from mixed race babies and the sexuality of US Navy men when they opened for Trump last month at a military base in Qatar.

The vice president told Fon that Musk had been calling on social media for several days to kill Trump’s “big beautiful bill” in Congress, and although he felt that some of the criticism was unfair from Elon, I don’t think the president thinks he needs to be in blood excretion with Elon Musk.”

“I think everything will go well if Elon actually cools a little,” he added.

Musk had appeared by Saturday morning to delete his post about Epstein.

The interview was recorded Thursday as mask posts were rolled out on X, a billionaire-owned social media network.

In an interview, Fon made Vice President Musk’s claim that the Trump administration has not released all records related to sex abuser Jeffrey Epstein because Trump is mentioned to them.

Vance responded, “It’s definitely not. Donald Trump had nothing wrong with Jeffrey Epstein.”

“Things like this are useless,” Vance said in another post shared by Musk, who calls for Trump to be fired each and replaced by Vance.

“It’s totally sane. The president is doing a good job.”

Vance called Musk a “incredible entrepreneur,” and said the government’s efficiency ministry, which tried to cut Musk’s government spending and fire or push out thousands of workers, was “really good.”

The vice president also defended the bill that elicited Musk’s rage, saying its central goal is not to cut spending, but to extend the 2017 tax cuts approved in Trump’s first term.

The bill will significantly cut spending, but the health insurance and spike deficits leave 10.9 million, $2.4 trillion, for over a decade.

Musk warned that the bill would increase the federal deficit, calling it “nasty hatred.”

“That’s a good bill,” Vance said. “That’s not a complete invoice.”

He also said he found a part that disputes the claim that it was ridiculous for House Republicans who voted for the bill, but later he didn’t have time to read it.

Vance said the text was available for several weeks, and said “the idea that people hadn’t actually had the opportunity to read it is ridiculous.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Vance laughed as Von joked about the sexuality of famous abolitionist Frederick Douglass.

“We’re going to talk about displaying that to the Smithsonian,” joked Vance. “And Theo Fon, you can be the storyteller of this new understanding of Frederick Douglas’ history.”

The podcaster also asked the vice president if he had “higher” on election night to celebrate Trump’s victory.

Vance laughed and joked that if he did, he wouldn’t admit it.

“I didn’t go high,” he said. “I drank quite a bit that night.”

The interview was recorded in Nashville at a restaurant owned by Trump’s ally musician Kidrock.
