Officials said at least six pedestrians were injured by a crowd near Sophie Stadium and a vehicle that ploughed into Intoots Dome in Inglewood on Saturday night.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department confirmed with KTLA that a crash was reported at 10:23pm in the 4000 block of Century Boulevard. Crews arrived to find six injured victims and began transporting them to local hospitals just before 11pm
Sky 5 was overhead after being located near the near century Boulevard west of Prairie Avenue at about 11:30pm.
The LA County fire said in an update provided around midnight that, as previously reported, the total number of cases was six instead of 10.
The crash, in which authorities declared a massive casualty case, took place as fans left the Conca Caff Gold Cup match between Sophie’s Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
LA County Fire said it was unclear how the crash occurred and could not immediately provide details about the driver or suspect’s vehicle.
Footage from Sky5 and Citizen.com showed the response of large paramedics and law enforcement at the scene, with multiple firefighters blocking traffic as investigators responding to the area.
