Green Mountain Republicans are pushing for the discipline or resignation of two Democrats who “coordinated” the Vermont Family Alliance’s meetings held for “Detrans Awareness Day.”
Vermont Republican Chairman Paul Damme told Fox News Digital on Wednesday that Marie Cordes of Lincoln and Marie Cordes of Middlebury played an “active role” in the disruption that went viral across the country, including Fox News Channel’s “Jesse Watters Primetime.”
Video footage of the Vermont Daily Chronicle, featured by Watters and other journalists, showed a man singing a loud voice over women’s clothes, while other Disrupters cried out loud enough to hold back Vermont Family Alliance speaker Renee McGuiness, who had a microphone.
“Deliberately recruiting people – it crosses the line for me,” Dam said.

While some Democrats in Montpellier are interested in working in the aisles, Dame said many people are “not interested in governance for anyone.”
In a statement, VTGOP cited a Facebook post from the “Middlebury Pride” page, which asked to gather together to “push back the Transhobic Bagots and Reies.”
“To make our presence known, please join us in a trance dance at the state capitol in Montpellier at 12:30pm. Transjoys are rebellious. Transjoys are unsuppressed.”
“Wear a mask – Trans power forever.”
The confused conference was intended to shift to biological sex and highlight the resources available to former transgender people who have experienced the physical, mental or emotional aftereffects of the original transgender surgery.
On its Facebook page, McGill posted a comment under the announcement, including the official day schedule for the room in question.

McGill and Cordes did not respond to requests for comment submitted to the state legislator’s Sergeant’s office.

He called on House Speaker Jill Krowinski, D-Burlington, to consider disciplining lawmakers to create “an unnecessary catastrophe.”

McGuinness later called for an apology from Horton and Hinsdale for “mischaracterizing our event as an attack on the transgender community.”
Fox News Digital reached out to Republican Vermont Gov. Phil Scott for comment but did not receive a response per reporting time.
