Surveillance camera footage is said to have captured immigrants and customs enforcement agents urinating on the premises of Pico Rivera High School during the broad daylight.

According to the El Rancho Unified School District, the agent was seen urinating in the parking lot at Reuben Salazar High School.

On Wednesday, the district called for a federal investigation into the agents’ “deeply unsettling” behavior. Agents say they are at risk of exposing themselves to minors on June 17th.

“These actions raise concerns about the rights and well-being of stakeholders, including the ERUSD community, as well as surprising and pressing questions about Ice’s actions and judgment,” he wrote in a letter to the Department of Homeland Security’s Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Kristi Noem and Ice Director Director Todd Lyons.

DHS and ICE did not immediately respond to Times’ request for comment.

Janice Hahn, LA County Superintendent who represents Pico Rivera, has issued a statement reflecting the appeal for a federal investigation.

“It’s not enough that they spent weeks ambushing people vigorously. Now, it’s said that ice and CBP agents are entering school campus, pulling their pants down and urinating in the playground,” she said. “It’s a slap in the face for our community, especially our kids.”

The incident took place on the morning of June 17th, when 8 to 10 unmarked ice cars were observed in the Salazar High School parking lot, according to the district.

District staff contacted officers who were allegedly not provided a judicial warrant or justification for being on the school premises. Staff notified agents that they were not permitted to enroll in the school and ordered them to leave the area they had complied with.

Shortly after ICE agents left, staff told district management that they saw the district urinating in public on campus.

A review of camera footage by the district from 8:54am to 9:40am revealed about 10 agents urinating near a parking storage container. The district has posted a condensed version of the footage on YouTube for viewing to the public.

“Reasonable people in any occupation will clearly recognize that entering Salazar, where ice agents were urinating, is of the school where minors are being taught,” he wrote the district in a letter to the ice.

The district is calling for an immediate investigation. Report on the survey results. and the names, titles, badge numbers of all those present in the case, and everyone who has permitted “such illegal conduct” to be carried out.

The letter was signed by Supt. All five members of Marco Vilgas and El Rancho Unified School District Board of Education. The letter also copied a number of elected officials, including Senators Alex Padilla, Senators Adam Schiff, Gov. Gavin Newsom and Atty. Ice Office of General Rob Bonta and the Professional Responsibility and the Agency’s Key Legal Advisor.

The district has issued an official statement ensuring the school community that ice agents were on the school grounds but were not allowed to enter the classrooms or buildings. The reason for the agent’s existence on campus is currently unknown.
