Vice President JD Vance leveraged BlueSky, a competitor to X commonly used by liberals, to troll the Democrats a week after joining the platform, becoming the most blocked user since then.

Bluesky is a social media alternative to X, ruled by liberal voters and elected Democratic officials after fleeing X after President Donald Trump’s victory in November 2024.
X is owned by Elon Musk, a top Trump alliance on the campaign trail and a tech billionaire who previously oversaw the government’s efficiency department under the Trump administration.

Fox Digital previously reported by Fox Digital follows a platform that accidentally banned his account after being flagged as a potential Vance Impostor account, following Vance’s first Bluesky post.
“We welcome the Vice President for conversations at Bluesky,” the company told Fox News Digital in an email response, saying, “We are becoming a prominent vice president for Vice President JD Vance on Bluesky, and the JD-Vance-1.BSKY.Social account has been temporarily suspended, flagged as part of that pattern by an automated system.
“The account recovered quickly within 20 minutes of suspension, and we also added a validated badge to allow users to check the authenticity of their profile,” the statement added.

The Bluesky social media platform, widely seen as a liberal alternative to X, saw an explosion on new liberal users following President Donald Trump’s 2024 election victory.
“Congratulations to the new Democratic leader,” Vance tagged Mamdani and instead set out on blue skiing.
Fox Digital previously reported that other Republicans took to social media on Wednesday to nominate the most liberal candidate in the pool of future mayors, including New York State Rep. Elise Stefanik and the National Republican Congressional Committee.
Vance took another obvious shot with the Democrats on Monday, telling Bruski, “President Trump said to Iran’s nuclear program: No Way Jose.”

“I wonder if the other VPs were as excited as I did,” he posted to X and Bruski after agreeing to a ceasefire on Tuesday following a US order in which Iran and Israel destroyed a trio of Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Vance was added to another Bluesky message he found on his X account on Tuesday. “We are developing a doctrine of foreign policy that will change the better nation (and the world): 1) clearly define America’s interests; 2) actively negotiate to achieve that interest; 3) use overwhelming force when necessary.”
