The best Democrat voices and average Democrat voters struggle to answer who the party leader is when asked during interviews.
Videos from America Rising, a conservative opposition research institute, highlighted comments from Senator Bernie Sanders and Elissa Slotkin, including the average American.
“People know me, I’m very easy. I don’t think it’s a secret that Democrats have been on their heels since Trump won the election. I don’t think it’s hidden. And there’s not only leadership, but also strategy, as well as leadership, but also many leaders, too?” Slotkin said in an interview at a “press conference” in a clip earlier this month.

At the time, she added that the party still “find their footing.” Slotkin, who won a competitive Michigan seat in November, was caught in the national spotlight after responding to President Trump’s joint speech to Congress on March 4th.
“I think there are a lot of complaints about the Democratic leaders and I think they’re with the Democrats as a whole,” Sanders said in an interview with CNN.
Others asked in the video had a hard time answering the questions, except for one woman who said Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (DN.Y.) was the party’s current leader.

“There’s no one. There’s no one,” another said on the video.
The leaders of the Progressive “Squad” recently held numerous “Combined Oligarchy” events in Sanders and Colorado, Arizona and Nevada, who are opposed to the Trump administration. But the ju umpire is still out for anyone who can come out as a united voice of progressive and moderates in the party, while maintaining solid opposition to the Trump White House.

Meanwhile, some of the clips opposed the notion that Chuck Schumer, the Senate minority leader, technically the highest-ranking Democrat in the United States, is the real leader. Schumer faces several calls to step down from his position after voting in favor of an ongoing resolution supported by the Trump administration to avoid government shutdowns.

A recent CNN poll of 504 Democrats or Democrats found that Ocasio-Cortez is considered the leader at 10%, with former vice president Kamala Harris at 9% and Sanders at 8%, while CNN polls at 8% are even more muddy. The same poll showed 29% favor for Democrats, compared to 54% at a disadvantage.
