What happens to the Hollywood Walk of Fame? Star-studded star ceremony for hip-hip artist Basta Raimus.

Rimes will be joined by Chris Rock, LL Cool J and Chuck D at the 11:30am ceremony on Friday in front of East Town Apartments at 6201 Hollywood Blvd. The host of the radio program Big Boy will be the host.

Fans are requested to line up on the west side of El Centro Avenue and will be escorted to Star Sites. Hollywood Boulevard will be closed in both directions between El Centro and Argyle Streets at 9:30am to accommodate the ceremony and will resume at about 2:30pm.

Rhymes, a 12-time Grammy nominee, told Variety that the stars are a bucket list item.

“It’s different from the Grammys. Unlike MTV, it’s different from the BET,” he said. “You can get multiple of them. You can get just one of these.”

The ceremony will arrive on the same day as the release of the film comedy “The Naked Gun.” On this day, Rhyme depicts a bank robbery.

The star is the 2,818th since the first 1,558 stars were completed in 1961.
