First on FOX: The newly released video appears to show administrators of the University of Florida system boasting about how her school is ramming through state laws banning DEI practices.
A video obtained by the Conservative Watchdog Accuracy (AIM) and posted online shows Heather Kleishanin, the administrator of St. Petersburg University at the University of South Florida, explained to undercover investigators how he tried to ban school laws using “alopecia” to promote Day.
“It’s a student-funded area, so it’s not affected by regulations and changes in law, so it changes a few things in terms of what we can do,” says Chryshanin, director of student behaviour and ethical development and dean of the student ambassador at USF St. Petersburg, who can see what he says in the video.
“Here we wanted it to be similar to not completely removing Dei,” the unidentified woman tells Klišanin at another point in the video.

Kraishainin said, “Yeah, and even our students, we need to make sure that it’s mostly done through the student government, as we can’t stop it like our programming or anything like that, if the students are funded.
Krishanin explained that there are students who are “outreaching and education” on the issue of DEI, but the department cannot directly fund these efforts, but “if we partner with the student government or the student government, we can do it if we pay.”
Kraishanin described the loophole as “red tape,” but when asked if school administrators could still have a “supportive role” in the DEI efforts, he said “yes.”

“Yes,” replied Krishanin.
In a statement to Fox News Digital, a university spokesperson said they are complying with the law.
“The University of South Florida follows all state and federal guidance, policies and laws related to DEI. USF does not operate a DEI office,” the spokesman said.
“As soon as USF provided the hidden camera video for Heather Klišanin, it began reviewing the ongoing issues. When I first reviewed the edited video, it appears she is referring to Florida laws and Florida governor regulations. Training.”
While Florida law provides carbates for student-funded activities, the press release suggests that the “loophole” mentioned in the video may not be legal either.
“However, this ‘loophole’ adopted by the USF is likely to violate state law, as not all student fees are paid through private sources,” the press release said. “As of fall 2022, more than 74% of USF Florida residents received taxpayer-funded scholarships through the Bright Futures program.”

“A “federal fund” is that funds provided to universities or directly advocate organizations of universities are provided directly or indirectly by Congressional budgets,” Florida regulations state on the University System’s website.
“This includes financial aid provided on behalf of the university by a student attending the university if that financial aid is provided to a student through a government or grant programme. State and federal funds cannot support student-led activities if they must be assigned to a student body assigned to the lord of a student body, regardless of student-led activities, regardless of student-led activities, in violation of an organization that violates this section.
Later in the video, Klišanin said, “We don’t intend to stop supporting the students we’ve supported in that space, so now they’re funded by students, so if the name changes, there’s no need to take away the support.”
This video shows President Adam Gillett facing Krishanin.
“We need to talk to Carrie Oblion,” says Krishanin.
Later in the video, Gillett talks to Oblion. Oblion appears to admit that something inappropriate has happened.
“That’s not a policy,” Oblion said when faced with the idea of switching DEI programs to student-funded efforts or renaming certain programs.
“Dei is a toxic ideology that leads to division, hatred and anti-Semitism,” Guillette told Fox News Digital in a statement. “That doesn’t exist in our education system. Both Gov. DeSantis and the Trump administration must ensure that these programs are rooted in public universities and K-12.”
In a statement to Fox News Digital, Bryan Griffin, director of Desantis Communications, told Fox News Digital: “It is unacceptable to circumvent state laws and regulations prohibiting DEIs in public universities. We are investigating the issue and to the extent that it is used for DEIs, “additive training” is not sufficient. ”

The newly discovered video comes just weeks after Fox News Digital reported exclusively about Professor Florida, after he exclusively boasted about how he found his way around the state’s DEI ban. Professor Dr. Haywood Brown, former Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs at the University of South Florida, resigned shortly after a report on Fox News Digital.
“By details about Brown’s actions and our commitment to violating state law and academic standards and our attention, our office quickly confirmed that our relationship with the university system was terminated,” Griffin told Fox News Digital at the time.
“The employment of this individual at the University of South Florida is now over today. He is no longer welcome to work in Florida education.”
